I just heard in the news that they are going to ban smoking at kopitiam and some other open areas. Thats good news to me and all other non-smokers!

Today I installed netbeans4.1 and the mobile pack.

Its good. Only basic J2ME knowledge is needed to do GUI. Drag and drop for basic items like forms and textbox. Though the GUI part is not that hard, its the fine details of J2ME that drags my time. Arrays class is not included which, I was using for one program in the J2SE version of the same program… Hence I have to do the codes myself. Oh yes not to mention, the lack of decimal numbers in the micro edition, I have to change somemore codes to reflect the change.

The program is a toto generator. It has input for a choice of how many numbers to generate. Its a really simple and rough program but I am happy that I have got it working. This is my hello world application that has successfully executed on my SX1. Hope I can do something about the bluetooth api soon…

I lust for the IBM T43!!!!

Should I get one? hahaaa seems a nice thing to get. A personal laptop. Then I will not need to find a computer to work with at sch……. Oh man I am getting greedy….. 2.2kg… 14.1″ lcd seems a bit too big for me. I like laptops to be smaller and lighter…. But this one is good too. Can have integrated bluetooth!!!!

I think its more a want than a need….. yah?

I cannot take the stress anymore. Its only the start of the course and by the end of a 3 hours lecture,?all I know about the course is the final game project and the almost weekly assignnments….

Yes thats game programming. Seems like it has not much to do with my mobile game programming that I will be doing for my final year project. Yes I shall drop this. But what should I take? All those subjects that I am interested in, are the TOUGH ones. Heard that Advance Computer Network and Real time systems are easy. Hence, I picked Advance Computer Networks. Now, my time table seems better.

Today I went for a sudden hair cut. Sudden in the sense then I made the decision abruptly. I went in the barber shop, told the lady I want my hair short short. She heard me loud and clear and started cutting. End reason: Short short short short hair, and I look like a primary school kid. I hate this hair style…. looks too young for me

Oh yeah I’ve got a call today, saying I have won some prize in some lucky draw. The caller has my details from a computer. I asked him which lucky draw coupon I have filled in my details, he said its all entered into the computer so he was not able to tell me.

Anyway my prize – 1 night stay in Sentosa + some cruise. I need to go down to the office to collect the prize. I said no. Then he said no sales no nothing and I will get my prize. Then I said I am one poor student. He asked my age. I said 24 but undergraduate. He said nevermind and hang up.

I was stupid. I should have asked him my name first. He must be some random caller, who had no information about me. So I conclude that I will ask for my name the next time I win another prize!
