Reached sch at 915am.
Nice feeling to go back sch again.

Had an interesting introduction to AI. Artifical Intelligence. Nice topic. I love it.

Next, I went to the ECA recruitment fair. Looked through the booths and signed up at 3 booths.

• NTU DanceSport Academy – teaches dance like sala, cha char, samba, foxtrot and more
• Linda hop – the video seems interesting!
• Lifeguard course – it will cost $200… maybe i will not go for it.

I walked the whole place like 3 or 4 times but I cannot find a yoga booth. I am very disappointed. Maybe I will try again tomorrow

Oh yeah I met up with Atiz and got my handphone back from her. I loan her my nokia 8250 while we were still doing attachment.

When the rain cleared, I went for a swim at the ntu pool. The water was nice and inviting

Then I meet up with Clownfish and Constant and we went for another round of walk at the ECA fair where I met a cute girl giving pamplets for Hip Hop. Constant signed up for it. I agreed to go to the audition for it if he goes. Oh yeah I managed to get him to sign for the 2 dance welcome tea with me.

Then Clownfish found the booth he wanted – Golf! We went over and talked to the couple at manning the booth. Then the guy asked us which year are we. Before we can reply, the girl said of course we are year 1. Then we told them we are year 4, They don’t look like they believe us…. I think this is very funny.

Finally, we made it waiting to the last 3 hours of lectures. Game programming. The lecturer is nice and friendly but then the course is very demanding and time consuming. Hope I can do well in it.

After school ended, I went to meet my friend QY who just returned from China, from his one year attachment. We had a very nice chat with Jits too. Its very nice of QY to get me a top and a bag. Thanks QY

Oh yeah I reached home at 1145pm. Tired but happy. I had a fruitful day. Hope everyday is as nice as today

Oh yes!

It has been my dream to have my firefox with me whereever I go, with the same settings and extensions that I have on my home computer. Now, I have it!

The program is called portable firefox.

It is a zip file. Just unzip the files and copy your profiles settings into the profile folder of the zip. Launch the portable firefox program and we are free to surf the net with our very own settings and extensions!

If you have a blog, then ping services may not be new to you

Many blogs support ping. Ping means to tell another site, mostly blog directories and search engines that you have new content. Even my blog I have configured ping services to ping some sites.

Introducing a new server from the creator of this new ping database program.

Today, someone knocked on the door.

My father answered the call and someone from the post office was delivering a package.
I went over and took a look. The package is for me. Took over the package and I don’t even need to sign haha

I wanted to open the package then my father told me not to. incase its some posion substance, since it is not labeled on the package. But I opened anyway. Then I see these!

yes I remember I have requested for the cds more than 1 month ago. I am glad to see them. They are Linux Ubuntu cd.

The package:

• 10 Ubuntu packages for normal pc
• 2 Ubuntu packages for AMD 64
• 2 Ubuntu packages for apple computers

Each package has a installer CD and one live cd for testing purposes.

Its not easy to install over a Windows system but once installed, the OS runs well. The Ubuntu forum is really helpful

Today I have a date with 2 friends. Jits and Shakua. Shakua asked us to go sim lim square(sls) to buy a new system with him. I am to meet up with Jits and then we go over to Shakua’s place to meet him so that we can drive us there.

I was too early so I walked around the Jurong point shopping center. Walked into the body shop and looked for something that can wash both the body and the hair. Then I found 3 products that can do it. In the end, I found this:

It cost $19.90 but I bought it anyway. Now I can do a proper washing up after I go for a jog or a swim at school.

Then I meet with Jits and we took a bus to Shakua’s place. We waited at the ground floor for him. Its good for I do not want to go up to his place. I used to go there everyday…… Thats a story for another day…

Anyway, we did not wait a long time then he came down and we go over to SLS.

We reached there at about 3pm and left the place at about 8pm. Wow we spent a long time there. During our stay there, I bought 2 wants for my phone, my beloved Siemens SX1.

The 2 items are:

1. NCP 512mb mmc card ($64)
2. Kingmax USB2.0 cardreader for SD/MMC ($1

Anyway we had dinner then we went over to Shakua’s place for fixing of his new computer. Drats! But then I still went. I met his parents and his sister. His mother commented that I had slim down.

I helped Jits to fix up the system and got my fingers cut. Haha some minor cuts. I was given 2 plasters with snoppy designs, which I just removed so that I can type better.

The system is running well except for a missing power supply cord to the SATA HDD.
I will be going to his place again to do the power supply…..Hope all things go well…
We had a date to swim tomorrow….

Cool? Imagine you can play your PS2 while your family members are watching tv, right off the same screen at the same time! Wow! Or 2 player games whereby each player can get the whole screen. Must be very cool!
