8am: alarm ring….. wake up.
8:30am: got out of house and walk to the bus stop. Right on time to see that I have missed the bus.
8:32am: Gave morning call to cookieger and angela.
8:45am: Board the bus.
9:40am: Reach TPY interchange.
10:30am: Angela reached.
10:45am: Cookie reached.
11:05am: serene reached.
12pm++: Reached MachRitchie Reservoir Park.

We walked 5++km to get to the Treetop entrance.

The bridge started on solid structure. Then towards the middle part, it is less solid but still more solid than a swing bridge. The bridge is really tall from the ground.

My camera is lousy. But then the height is really tall.

This may look long but then actually, the actual walk on this can take only about 10 to 15 minutes only.

This bridge allows only one way direction. There is a closed gate at the exit which can only be opened from one side. It reminded us of Jurassic Park. I have forgoten to take a picture of the gate.

At the end of the bridge leads us to a track that looks like this.

But there are a lot of stairs before we come to this.

We walked another 5km++ to get out of the park. Total time took us like 3-4 hours for just a 10 minutes walk on the bridge.

Still it’s good that I managed to have a try on this famous treetop.

After the trip, we left for TPY again and ate our dinner at Swenson’s. The girls’ mood were marred by a group of noisy kids. Yup they were noisy because there was like only one or two adult taking care of them.

Nevertheless, I think its a nice trip. Though I went in slippers, I think track shoes may be better. I feel tired from all the walking. But I am satisfied that I have done a bit of exercise today.
