World of Leion

I went to the cinema thinking what a silly movie this was. I come out satisfied.

This movie is about cars. Every "living thing" are cars. There have tiny cars with wings to be flies. Tractors as cows and many talking cars as humans.

The story: Lightning McQueen was the new rookie who managed to come in first with 2 other cars in a race. It was set that they would compete again at another racing track for the Piston cup. Lightning was sleeping in his track-container while his track was ferrying him to his destination. Someone Lightning fell out of the container and made his way to an almost deserted small town, Radiator Springs.

There, Lightning made some friends and learn about thinking for others. He found out there was one retired 3 time winner of the Piston cup racer. His name was Hudson Hornet. Hudson gave him a tip and taught him out to navigate a sharp bend. 

Eventually his truck found him and off he went for his race. At the racing track, Hudson and many friends turn up and gave him support. The most funny part was then a Italian speaking tyre changing friend changed his tyres in split second and the other tyre changing workers for other racers stare at him with jaws wide open. 

Lightning was first and he stopped right before the finishing line when one of the other racer overturned and was badly injured. He had a flashback on what Hudson told him about being outcasted and he decided to push the injured racer to take the second place. Everyone cheered at him, much to the delight of Hudson and friends. Everyone regarded him as the winner.

Because of Lightning, the Radiator Spring town was brought back to life with visitors. The show ended with them watching movies. The cast are cars in various cartoons, like Toy car Story, A bug's life, Monster inc.

The graphics of the cartoon is stunning. The cars, trees and buildings are very life-like. I enjoyed the movie a lot.
