Rejected

I applied last Valentine’s day.
After many tests and waiting, I finally got the news that I am rejected. After one year.
Here are the exact words:
Thank you for your interest in the post of Pilot.
We have considered your application and regret to inform you that your application is unsuccessful.
We thank you for your interest and wish you all the best in your endeavours.
The long wait is over. Now I can get on with my life and keep my camera phone. 
I might still apply to be a commercial pilot.
