I had many birthday meals this year.

In Sydney. A day before my flight back to Singapore. It was a joint birthday dinner for me and J whose birthday is on the 4th. My Sydney colleagues brought us to an expensive Japanese restaurant for buffet. The food there was nice. Well, it’s the company that matters. Feel bad for having to let my colleagues treat me to an expensive meal.

First day in Singapore after my flight back home. Went for a family dinner together. It was the usual Chinese fare. I am very happy to be together with my family again

First day at work after touchdown. Met 3 new colleagues. First encounter with them. Found YY quite chatty. But did not chat much with PY and KC. They are shy, so am I. Lunch at Dian Xiao Er. Pam treated me in Sydney and now again in Singapore. Think it was quite an awkward lunch having my new colleagues treating me the first time we meet.

Met up with JC friends for dinner at Fish and Co. Bern, KF, YQ and girlfriend turned up. Had a good time catching up. The birthday attention given by the staff did give me a nice surprise.

My sister gave me some vouchers. Cousin gave me a pink shirt. Went out with KF for a gym and swim session. It was a good chatting session. Jit and Reg called and asked me to join them for dinner but I had to be home for dinner so I turned down their good intentions.
