Watched 881 with JF and LY. JF asked me then I asked LY along.
The show is at 9:40pm. Me and LY left office at about 8:30pm. Went to food court and had our dinner. Saw 933 deejay Zhou Chong Qing there. I must say that he look more handsome and taller in person than on tv. He sat at a table opposite us. I think I must be talking too loudly, for he turned and look at my direction a few times..
Ok on 881 movie. I must say that I did not really wanted to watch this movie. JF had asked me out for movie 2 times already. The first time I was busy at work and today, I am determined to have some local entertainment before flying off.
The 881 movie is quite funny. Almost 90% of the dialog is singing. And all the singing is in Hokkien. It is good that they have subtitles in English and Chinese, good for me to learn more of the dialect. The show does not make much sense but the entertainment value is there. I do not like the turn for the sad ending for wrap up but on the whole, the movie is worthy the $8.
