Alvin and the Chipmunks

Watched this movie before I went to the airport to fetch my sister.
Watched it with HF. I remember there exists this cartoon series shown on tv when I was young. However I cannot recall anything else about the cartoon other than 3 singing chipmunks. (They look like hamsters to me anyway)
Though the plot is somewhat unexciting, the songs in it are quite nice. Entertainment value is there. On the whole, I enjoyed the movie.
