I am Legend

‘I am Legend‘ is set in the future. Supposedly there is a cure for cancer. Then the cure became a virus that threatened human survival.
Staring Will Smith, the movie is set in 2015. But there is not much futuristic feel to it. The movie was quite scary at times, which made HF and ML covered their ears. The flashback method of telling the story bit by bit is interesting. It revealed the story at intervals so I could appreciate the story better.
The virus turned humans into aggressive vampire-like zombies. They do not think much and they are afraid of the sunlight. Will Smith, with his dog, were the sole survivers in the city and he was looking for a cure. He caught a female zombie and used her for testing his cures. There was a zombie leader who seem smart. He was able to hunt for Will, using his method of laying a trap to capture the female zombie.
In a battle against the zombies, Will’s dog got infected and he had to kill his dog. That was a sad moment. When he tried to revenge his dog, he was almost killed and this was when suddenly a weak female managed to save him. How she saved her is an unknown. How did she survival all the time when she had a child with her?
Anyway the female saved him and brought him to his place. They were not careful and the zombies managed to track them down. The fight began again. This is when he found out his cure worked. he handed the lady a test tube of blood containing the cure and tried to stall the zombies. Using a small grenade, he manged to kill himself, and many zombies and set the lady plus the small boy free.
They manged to get to some human village to deliver the cure. This is when Will become the legend.
