Callback
Recently I have changed my mobile service plan to one that offers free incoming calls. Going by the rates, the plan cost about $9 per hour. My previous service plan can cost me $6 to $12 for the same duration.
There are third party services available in the market that can help to cut mobile bills. Initially I found it troublesome as there will always be a slight delay in making calls. After getting the service, I find it quite easy to use.
How it works:
- Dial the service’s callback number
- The line will automatically disconnect
- A computer system will call back
- Key in the number that you really want to call
- Computer system will dial using the number just entered
- Real call chat begins
- Shortcut sms delivered after call - this sms contains a shortcut number, which, once dialed will automatically do the above tasks and the user can just wait for a callback call for the real call to connect
The rate for this is much cheaper than what service provider is charging me. $10 for at least 6 hours of talktime. This is about 6 times cheaper. I saved over a hundred dollars using callback services. It is worthy of the slight delay for long duration chats.
hmmm….maybe i’ll oso take up this thingy..overseas call got cheaper?
