Search of a new phone
My current Sony Ericson K800i camera phone can still work. However, age has caught up with it. There are some issues with it from time to time.
Problems with my mobile:
- Sometimes incoming SMS does not give an alert
- SMS sender may be randomly replaced by another contact in the phone book
- SMS recieve time randomly set to a long time in the past
- SMS may become corrupted before read
All of them are SMS related. The phone still works reasonably well but I cannot afford to keep the timebomb with me much longer. Imagine I were to send a wrong reply to the wrong person, or worse, to let the phone send my sms to a random person.
I would want to replace this mobile. Currently on my list is SE G900 and HTC Touch Diamond.
Common functionalities : Touch screen and wifi support.
Having a camera mobile for quite a while, I want a camera with at least 3 mega pixels. Anything less than that will seem a downgrade to me.
I like the idea of being able to surf net on the go if needed. Touch Diamond is too expensive at the moment. Maybe G900 will be a more comfortable bet. Well, lets see how it goes…

Is HTC any good? My friend and Mr K seem to have problems with the reception at times.
