Enable middle scroll in Ubuntu Firefox
by Leion on Jan.18, 2009, under Howtos
I have this issue with Ubuntu Firefox: I am not able to use the middle click on my mouse for scrolling.
Finally found the solution to my problem: A rather simple one too. Just follow the following steps:
- Type about:config into the Firefox address bar.
- Look for general.autoScroll and set it to true
- Look for middlemouse.contentLoadURL and set it to false
Middle click scrolling should work now. If it still does not work, then the X11 configurations need to be tweaked. For more information, look up here.
