Carpark Rates
by Leion on Jan.24, 2009, under General
I think it is handy to be able to find out the car park rates even before I get to the site.
OneMotoring does a wonderful job of collecting and updating the information into the web site. Though the site says it will be good to have the rates printed and kept in the glove compartment for easy reference, I think the presentation of the information in separate categories or areas does not fit my needs.
I prefer to have all the rates on the same page. It will be much easier to use the computer to find, or to have it printed for easier reference.
With a smart phone that can open excel spreadsheet, I think it is even more convenient to have this information with me at all times.
Solution
I compiled all the parking rates from OneMotoring and put them into a spreadsheet. The excel spreadsheet has all the information in one page and is real good to have in a smart phone. There is no need to incur data charges to connect to the internet to get this information.
I have made the file available to anyone who thinks this is useful.
Do leave a comment on my blog when you download this.
I will update this spreadsheet periodically whenever Onemotoring update their information.

shaw centre should be 3.50 after 6pm

tks but how accurate is this list?
- shaw centre should be 3.50 after 6pm.
- intl building is totally wrong! its not 2.14 per entry on weekends! $4.50 for 1st 3hr, $1.00 for next subsequent 1/2hr from 8am to 5.30pm, $3.00/entry from 5.30pm to 8am

It would be more helpful if the file is linked to the gps and would search for the cheapest rate in the area.
well, not hard to implement, just plain lazy.

That should be a function of a GPS. This is just spreadsheet..

Thanks for this. It would be good if you could add on a field to indicate which are EPS compliant carparks.

The source of the data does not have the EPS information, hence I am not able to supply this into the spreadsheet
