Avatar: The Last Airbender

I never expected this to be a series. Avatar: The Last Airbender is the first part of this avatar series.
The show started with a “Book 1: Water” screen, which led me to believe there will be book 2 and 3 in the same movie. I was almost three quarter into the movie when I realised that I will not get them in the movie. They will be in other movies.
Somehow, I feel the story is more oriental and would do better with Asian cast. Overall, the show is a bit draggy. However the entertainment effects are still acceptable. I guess a company of old friends helped, though we sat at the second row.
I hope the rest of the story is made available soon. I hate to stop at a cliff hanger.
