Secured Facebook, unsecured applications

I have always been a supporter for secured connection whenever possible andI will always connect via https if it is available. I have been waiting for https connectivity for Facebook for a long time and it was made available recently.
The disappointing part is that some (or all?) of the application are not supporting this yet. I still get requests to change the the unsecured http connections in order to access the applications. The message below shows one of such requests. I feel it defeats the purpose of going with the secured connection in the first place, and I refuse to go back to http and hence not using those apps. Let us see when the applications will take up https connections.
